The subcompact crossover on Hyundai’s N line – the Kona N. The engineers of the division have previously worked their magic on the Veloster hatchback, and the outcome wowed everyone with its turbocharged four-cylinder, rigid suspension, and snappy handling—all of which are now present in the bigger, roomier Kona N. On the outside, the car has all the customary sporting features: a blacked-out grille, a hood with creases and holes, big air intakes, simple and streamlined light signatures, N emblems, low-profile tires, a dual exhaust, and red pinstripe down the bottom margins of the spoiler, side skirts, and diffuser. The perforated steering wheel has a red button within that begs to be pressed. The 276-hp fleet is increased to 286 for 20 seconds when the overboost mode is used. Additional N emblems, suede-like seat covers, and Performance Blue embellishments complete the set.
